How to sum oneself up in 1200 words or less? I've decided to write poetry about being a housewife, even though I do so much more than manage a household. I run a Unitarian Universalist sunday school and work for a UU district doing youth and young adult organizing. I can't be who I am, divulge my secrets, do my job well, and rant as myself, so I have taken the sobriquet of my favorite imaginary feminist, who I think would have been a lot like me.

I am so lucky I got to sit with him a while last night. He reminded me of another dog in another state and another year - I cried for them both this morning. I miss them.
I am so sorry, Sister. So sorry for the cold days and the sadness.
We will drink a drink (or two) in memory in the warm southern California sunlight nex week.
